PEER REVIEW PROCESS

Manuscripts submitted to ‘Aakhar’ will be reviewed for possible publication on the understanding that they have been submitted only to ‘Aakhar’ and have not been published, simultaneously submitted, or accepted for publication elsewhere. Once a manuscript is submitted, the manuscript is assessed by a screening Editor for originality of work and any serious plagiarism. After initial screening it is then sent to a panel of external reviewers who will review the article and submit reviewer’s comments. Based on the reviewers comments the article is either published unaltered or is sent back to the author for corrections as suggested by the reviewers. The author is informed regarding the same. The peer-review process is double blinded, i.e., the reviewers do not know who the authors of the manuscript are and the authors do not have access to the information of who the peer-reviewers are. Once the article is fit for publication it is published again reviewed by editorial board for and finally published in the online format.
